Soon to be four …

Zak's 1st Birthday!

Zak's 1st Birthday! mmm cake

Wow – it has been too long since I have updated this blog!

I have been keeping busy with Zak, who is now 16 months old and all over the place. He’s got the best personality – he is quick to smile, has a good sense of humor, and is constantly exploring and trying to figure out the world around him. I have been posting plenty of photos of him on our Shutterfly Website.

I am also 35 weeks pregnant now with baby number two! Devin and I are both really excited to welcome the 4th member of our family soon, she is due on November 30th.

Aside from the pregnancy and watching over an active toddler, I have been keeping busy trying to earn additional income from home. I am working on a new blog detailing my Work at Home adventures as well.

front_nothankyou It all began nearly six years ago, when Devin and I first met. It took us a few years to get things together, but we did it! Last year we finally got married, a quiet and romantic wedding, just the two of us married in beautiful Jamaica with the ocean as our backdrop. That was the catalyst for all the wonderful things that have fallen into place in our lives since.

preggerswithdevSince we waited so long to get married, we were both ready to start a family right away. We were lucky enough to have this wish realized within a month after being married when we discovered I was pregnant.

We had begun to look at houses, but at first they seemed out of reach price-wise. Every night we went to bed dreaming of living in a house, a house just right for us to start our family in that wouldn’t break the bank. Hat’s off to the Law of Attraction – thanks to the the housing market crash and help from my family we were able to purchase a bank-owned house, that with a little elbow grease, was just perfect for us.

First there were two …  and then there were three.
